On the 14th of November, Orange Corners Baghdad organized an event to welcome the newly joined members of the incubation program.

The event included attendees from the 20 startups and their teams. We were also joined by Asiacell (Founding partner of the program) and KAPITA Team.

After a warm welcome from Mujahed Waisi - Founder of KAPITA and Mohammad Hameed - Program Coordinator, KAPITA discussed with the new incubatees the role that they are playing as they have entered an incubation program.

They also explained what to expect during their incubation period of 6 months which will contain heavy training sessions, masterclasses and public events to discuss important topics that are related to the entrepreneurial community in Iraq.

Orange Corners Baghdad has been running for a while as 3 cohorts have already been done with over 55 startup graduates. The program provides a great opportunity for the startups to mark down their main objectives and learn how they can turn their idea into a scalable business that solves a real problem within the Iraqi market. As well as provide a great chance to network with each other and with specialized professionals in different fields of expertise.

The Startups also took part in the event by introducing themselves alongside their team members and this gave them the chance to get to know each other by presenting their ideas and businesses.

One of the most important topics that has been discussed is the commitment to such a program as this helps better establish their startups, learn and gain the proper knowledge that they need when entering the market, as well as being committed to the idea of their startups and start acting seriously in order to achieve great accomplishments throughout the program and even after graduating.
