Conference Brief
Iraq's condition is affected by climate change and is considered one of the most vulnerable nations in terms of experiencing the worst effects of the climate crisis. Unfortunately, there is a lack of readiness to face those challenges in many areas. The main objective of the summit sought to be held is to highlight all of the relevant parties/bodies engaged in tackling climate-related issues. The importance of highlighting the key stakeholders and their accountability towards the country's food security, water scarcity, environment status, health, enabling new technologies, and improving infrastructure are concluded to be crucial at this point.
