From Startups to Scaleups! ScaleUp Academy has commenced its 2nd cohort

We are so happy to share with you that our second cohort for ScaleUp Academy has started its journey in our six months accelerator program. Our nine selected startups for this cohort provide distinct products and services and come from various industries and sectors including, ed-tech, e-commerce, last mile delivery, maintenance services and handmade Iraqi products.

In the next six months our startups will receive in-depth business support training in a range of aspects, such as advanced marketing, growth strategies, finance, transaction & deal economics and pitch deck workshops. Additionally, based on each venture’s needs we will deliver customized workshops to help them understand how to access markets and funding opportunities.

We are also glad to have the continued support of our partner GIZ and our strategic partner Asiacell for this cohort. Both of them will provide our startups with extensive knowledge and expertise in the entrepreneurial field through thorough and rigorous training. Not limited to this, the services provided and the networking opportunities available in the program will definitely hasten the scalability process of these ventures and move them from startups to scaleups in no time. Our ultimate goal by the end of the program is to graduate investment-ready companies with a huge growth potential in the Iraqi market.
