We have moved on to phase 2 of the application process for our 3rd cohort program by Orange Corners Baghdad.

The bootcamp is a compulsory two-day-long bootcamp in which a jury decides on which are the best startups to move on to the next stage of the incubation program and that is the training sessions.

After reading through the applications, we have shortlisted over 250 applicants to 45 startups for the 3rd bootcamp.

Day one consisted of an intensive online training session presented by a group of our experienced trainers. They helped the participants shape their projects to be pitched in front of the jury.

The training focused on the main pillars of startups:

• Problem statement

• The solution

• Business model

• Market size

• Validation

• Partners & the founding team

• Startup’s needs

After five hours of continuous work and discussions, the participants prepared their projects.

On bootcamp day two and three, the participants attended KAPITA Business Hub, located in Al-Mansour, to pitch their project ideas for five minutes in front of the jury. The pitch days help in evaluating all projects to enable the jury to choose the best startups to join Orange Corners incubation program for the next 6 months.

Finally, after the two days of pitching sessions in front of the evaluation jury, +20 startups have joined the 3rd cohort of the Orange Corners Baghdad incubation program!
