KAPITA Participates in a Panel Discussion in the Startups On The Move Networking event in Erbil Hosted by Startups Without Borders and SPARK in Partnership with The Station. 

In June 2022, Startups Without Borders and SPARK in partnership with The Station, hosted the Startups On The Move Networking events, a series of ecosystem events connecting entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds with key ecosystem players in the Middle East. 

The events are part of the Startups on the Move Incubation program, launched with support from Google.org, which involves a 5-month incubation and mentorship program for 130 entrepreneurs. 

The incubation program for entrepreneurs will take place in Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq. KAPITA was invited to participate in the launching event at the Station Erbil.

Alongside Five One Labs and Takween, KAPITA joined a panel discussion to discuss the current investment scene in Iraq, Access to finance, Iraqi startup's success stories, and the reality of the Iraqi ecosystem insights. 

Moreover, Startups Without Borders held a pitch presentation for five startups from the Iraqi ecosystem. The jury included Mr. Ashley Barlow - Executive Director of The Station Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Mr. Hayder Zeyad - Senior Investment Associate and Mr. Qudama Jalal - Investment Analyst at KAPITA and Mr. Ameen Hadeed - Sr. Business Consultant.
